Lovely afternoon tea. However no butter or jam, only fruit scones brought out. Other tables had the sandwich fillings and cake flavours explained..... Not us.

Lovely pub, restaurant and I assume hotel right on seafront.Large garden to front and side with different types of seating.We parked on road opposite, don't know if there is an actual car park.Nicely decorated inside and out.Warm welcome from all staff, little wait for our order and got it wrong but quickly rectified that, while being very polite.Would recommend a visit.

Just revamped and a job well down.Had lunch really nice, food really good,new decoration but still reasonable prices.Staff very friendly and politeWould highly recommend.

This place is great, a smart restaurant in a clean and well maintained hotel. Seven of us went for an early family meal on Saturday evening and sat indoors next to the large folding doors to their garden. It was lovely and open and the friendly staff seated and served us quickly.Food and drinks were not slow. The kids burgers were large and very good quality, as was the kids pasta dish. My three small plates for 15 were good and made a decent size meal along with a portion of chips. All the other mains and desserts looked good.We were impressed with how vibrant and nice it was in the hotel and restaurant. Well worth the drive out of Clacton.

For starters this should most definitely be a 4 star hotel not a 3!From the moment I arrived I was treated amazingly.The decor and cleanliness of this hotel is definitely worth a mention, it beautiful, the lounge/bar and dining room is a lovely sea facing, well spaced out area.The menu is very good and the food itself is very well presented large portions and absolutely delicious!The hotel is very well staffed with potentially the nicest group of young people I have had the pleasure to be around, polite and respectful with beautiful manners, I must mention Brandon (if IV got your name wrong luv I'm sorry) what a nice lad, for god's sake put him on reception This has been the best UK break I have had and I cannot recommend it highly enough!Well done and il be back in September.

My husband and I got married at this beautiful seaside hotel 4 years ago and we adored it then. We also stayed in the honeymoon suite which was gorgeous with picturesque seaviews. Since then, it has undergone so many changes and is now a new level of amazing! The food is delicious, the interior design is stunning and the staff are so helpful and polite. I would highly recommend.
